I have really been on a iced coffee kick as of late. This is one version I've tried and really like. You may use cooled coffee, but I think the flavor is better if you pour hot coffee over ice. Time doesn't include time to brew coffee.

ICED MOCHAS

All of my friends rave about these frosty drinks. I pour my leftover coffee in ice cube trays and keep them on hand all the time. You can make fun squiggly designs on insides of glasses with chocolate syrup, before pouring mochas. Top with whipped cream.

Tips for Making the Perfect Iced Mocha:

  • Choose high-quality coffee beans. The better the coffee, the better the iced mocha. Look for beans that are freshly roasted and have a rich, full flavor.
  • Use cold brew coffee. Cold brew coffee is smoother and less acidic than regular coffee, making it ideal for iced mochas. You can make your own cold brew coffee at home or purchase it from a coffee shop.
  • Make your own chocolate syrup. Store-bought chocolate syrup is often loaded with sugar and unhealthy ingredients. Making your own chocolate syrup is easy and allows you to control the sweetness and flavor.
  • Use real milk or a non-dairy alternative. Whole milk will give your iced mocha a richer flavor, but you can also use skim milk or a plant-based milk like almond milk or oat milk.
  • Don't skimp on the ice. Ice is essential for making a refreshing iced mocha. Use plenty of ice to keep your drink cold and diluted.

Conclusion:

The iced mocha is a delicious and refreshing coffee drink that can be enjoyed all year round. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of effort, you can make a delicious iced mocha at home that rivals anything you would find at a coffee shop. So next time you're craving a cool and creamy coffee drink, give this recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
