Tips:

  • Use ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your cookies will be.
  • Mash the bananas well: Make sure to mash the bananas until they are completely smooth, with no lumps.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make the cookies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough for at least 30 minutes will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the cookies at a high temperature: Baking the cookies at a high temperature (375°F) will help them to rise and set quickly, preventing them from becoming dry.
  • Don't overbake the cookies: Overbaking the cookies will make them dry and crumbly. Bake them just until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still slightly soft.

Hearty breakfast cookies are a delicious and nutritious way to start your day. They are packed with oats, nuts, and seeds, which provide fiber, protein, and healthy fats.
