Time 40m

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 box 6 oz flavored Jell-o of choice*
3 packets 0.25 oz ea. unflavored gelatin
⅔ cup water

Steps:

  • Pour flavored Jell-o and unflavored gelatin packets into saucepan, then and add liquid and whisk to combine. Allow to sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes.
  • Heat mixture in saucepan over medium-low heat, whisking continuously until melted and dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and transfer mixture into silicone gummy worm molds, or silicone molds of choice. (I use a dropper/syringe to make this easier for me, adding ~5mL of liquid per gummy worm cavity.)
  • Chill filled molds in refrigerator until hardened. (This should only take around 15-20 minutes.)
  • Once set, peel gummy candies from molds and enjoy!
  • Store gummies in the fridge in an airtight container, or leave them in the molds and cover until ready to remove and enjoy. Lasts up to 7 days.
  • Yields 40 gummy worms. (Filled 2 of my silicone gummy molds.)

Yield 100 gummy bears

Number Of Ingredients 3

1/2 cup fruit juice, such as cranberry, grape, orange or lemonade
2 tablespoons unflavored powdered gelatin
2 tablespoons sugar

Steps:

  • Combine the fruit juice or lemonade, gelatin and sugar in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring often, until the gelatin and sugar dissolve completely, about 1 minute (make sure there is no undissolved sugar stuck to the bottom of the saucepan). If any foam forms while stirring, skim it off and discard. Transfer the mixture to a small liquid measuring cup.
  • Put the gummy bear molds on a flat surface and slowly fill each cup to the top. Give each mold a small shake to ensure the mixture settles to the bottom. Refrigerate until the mixture sets, about 10 minutes. Store at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Sprinkle about 1/3 of the crushed sandwich cookie crumbs into the bottom of a serving bowl, and spoon the chocolate pudding over the crumbs. Tips:

  • Use fresh lemon juice: Fresh lemon juice will give your gummy worms a brighter flavor than bottled lemon juice.
  • Don't overcook the gummy worms: The gummy worms will continue to set as they cool, so don't overcook them or they will be too hard.
  • Use a variety of molds: You can use any type of mold to make gummy worms, such as a candy mold, an ice cube tray, or even a plastic straw.
  • Get creative with your flavors: You can add different flavors to your gummy worms by using different juices, extracts, or spices.
