Tips:

  • Use fresh cranberries: Fresh cranberries have a brighter flavor and a firmer texture than frozen cranberries. If you can't find fresh cranberries, you can use frozen cranberries, but be sure to thaw them completely before using.
  • Choose a good quality honey: The honey you use will have a big impact on the flavor of the sauce. Look for a honey that is flavorful and has a strong floral aroma.
  • Use fresh rosemary: Fresh rosemary will give the sauce a more vibrant flavor than dried rosemary. If you can't find fresh rosemary, you can use dried rosemary, but be sure to use only 1/4 of the amount called for in the recipe.
  • Don't overcook the sauce: The sauce should be cooked just until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened. Overcooking the sauce will make it bitter.
  • Let the sauce cool completely before serving: The sauce will thicken as it cools. If you serve the sauce warm, it will be too thin.

Conclusion:

Honey lemon cranberry sauce with rosemary is a delicious and versatile sauce that can be used on a variety of dishes. It's perfect for Thanksgiving dinner, but it's also great on chicken, pork, or fish. The sauce is also a good source of vitamins and minerals, making it a healthy addition to your meals.
