1 lb american cheese
1 lb shell macaroni
16 oz whole tomatoes
1/4 c panko bread crumbs
2 Tbsp butter

  • 2. Slice up the onions, or use one onion if you wish, and lightly brown in about a tablespoon of oil.
  • 3. Add the hamburg to the pan with onions and break up and cook until brown.
  • 4. In a double boiler, put the cream of mshroom soup and the cheese, which has been cubed (I use velveeta sometimes).
  • 5. When the cheese is melted, add the onion and hamburg which has been drained.
  • 6. Add the macaroni and then the tomatoes (I use the ground peeled)with the liquid and mix together.
  • 7. Pour all into a greased casserole dish.
  • 8. Melt the butter and mix with the crumbs. Sprinkle all over the casserole.
  • 9. Bake until bubbly.

Tips:

  • Mise en place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all of your ingredients and equipment ready. This will help you stay organized and avoid scrambling around in the middle of cooking.
  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh ingredients will always give you the best flavor. If you can, try to buy your ingredients from a local farmer's market or grocery store.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment: Honky tonk recipes are often simple and straightforward, but that doesn't mean you can't get creative. Feel free to add your own personal touch to the recipes and make them your own.
  • Cook with love: The most important ingredient in any recipe is love. When you cook with love, it shows in the food. So relax, enjoy the process, and let your love shine through.
