Time 8h18m

Yield 8 servings

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/4 cup granulated sugar
7 tablespoons butter, melted
One 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk, chilled

1 teaspoon candied lemon peel, for garnish

Steps:

  • For the crust: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Tips:

  • Use fresh lemons for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh lemons, you can use bottled lemon juice, but the flavor won't be as good.
  • Make sure the butter and cream cheese are softened before you start. This will make them easier to mix together and will help to create a smooth filling.
  • Don't overbeat the filling. Overbeating will make the filling tough.
  • Chill the pie for at least 4 hours before serving. This will allow the filling to set and will make the pie easier to slice.
  • Serve the pie with whipped cream or ice cream. This will add a delicious touch of sweetness and creaminess.

Conclusion:

Lemon pie is a classic dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its bright, citrusy flavor and creamy filling, it's sure to please everyone at your table. Follow these tips to make the best lemon pie possible.
