Time 10m

Yield 1 Quart, 6-12 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 12

7/8 cup pasteurized egg (I use Egg Beaters)
1 1/8 ounces crushed garlic
3 1/2 ounces parmesan cheese
2 2/3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon pepper
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 1/2 ounces anchovies
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 cups olive oil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Blend all ingredients 20 seconds on high and then 20 seconds on low.
  • Makes 1 quart.

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: The fresher your ingredients, the better your dressing will taste. This is especially important for the lemon juice, garlic, and anchovies.
  • Don't over-process the dressing: Over-processing the dressing can make it too thick and creamy. Pulse the ingredients in a blender or food processor just until they are combined.
  • Taste the dressing as you go: The best way to make sure your dressing is perfect is to taste it as you go. Adjust the seasonings to your liking.
  • Let the dressing rest: After you've made the dressing, let it rest for at least 30 minutes before using it. This will allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Use the dressing within a week: Caesar dressing is best when used within a week of making it. After that, it will start to lose its flavor.

Conclusion:

LongHorn Steakhouse Caesar Dressing is a delicious and versatile dressing that can be used on salads, chicken, fish, and even vegetables. It's easy to make at home with just a few simple ingredients. With its creamy, tangy, and garlicky flavor, this dressing is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
