Marinade for Chicken, Pork or Beef image

This recipe comes from my Uncle Tommy. He used this recipe to marinate chicken kabobs and served them over yellow rice. One tip he gave me was to put a little of the marinade in a dish with the onion halves and microwave for a minute or two. It softend them up before putting on the skewers with the rest of the meat and veggies.

AMAZING PORK CHOP OR CHICKEN MARINADE

Amazing Pork Chop or Chicken Marinade image

This recipe came from my sister-in-law Denise who is an awesome cook, mother and wife! Originally we were using it only for pork but last night I had boneless, skinless chicken breasts thawed and thought, "why not?" The brown sugar flavor really came through with the chicken. I'm guessing it would also be great with venison. I often double the marinade for plenty to boil and pour over the grilled meat.

Tips:

  • Use a variety of marinades. Each marinade has its own unique flavor profile, so experiment with different combinations of ingredients to find one that you enjoy.
  • Marinate the chicken or pork for at least 30 minutes, but no longer than 24 hours. This will give the marinade time to penetrate the meat and flavor it.
  • If you're using a marinade with an acidic ingredient, such as lemon juice or vinegar, be sure to rinse the chicken or pork before cooking. This will help to prevent the meat from becoming tough.
  • Cook the chicken or pork over medium heat. This will help to prevent the marinade from burning and will also allow the meat to cook evenly.
  • Let the chicken or pork rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, making it more tender and flavorful.

Conclusion:

Marinating chicken or pork is a great way to add flavor and moisture to the meat. With so many different marinades to choose from, you're sure to find one that you'll love. So next time you're cooking chicken or pork, be sure to try marinating it first. You won't be disappointed!
