Steps:
- 1. In skillet on stovetop fry bacon pieces until crisp, remove from pan and drain on paper towels. In a large mixing bowl gently fold together all ingredients except catsup.
- 2. Spray medium rectangle baking dish or loaf pan with nonstick spray.
- 3. Squirt or "frost" meatloaf with catsup. I probably use more than 1/4 C as you can see in the photo.
- 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour 20 minutes. About 1/2 way through baking time I try to use a turkey baster to remove the grease that has cooked out of the ground beef dish during the baking process.
- 5. For the "Deluxe" I serve this meatloaf with a side salad made with iceberg lettuce, sliced tomato & thin sliced raw onion. It really does taste like a Deluxe Bacon Cheeseburger.
MEATLOAF DELUXE
This recipe is so delicious and moist, there was no grease(due to the lean meat and breading). My family enjoyed this recipe very much...so flavorful.

Ok, I found this, an old newspaper clipping, in an old recipe box, given to me by a friend. I have not tried it yet, but it does sound interesting especially with the horseradish.
