Tips:

  • To make sure the snowdrop cookies are extra soft and chewy, cream the butter and sugar together until they are light and fluffy. This will help to incorporate air into the dough, which will make the cookies tender.
  • Be careful not to overmix the dough. Overmixing can make the cookies tough.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help to prevent the cookies from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the cookies at a low temperature, 325 degrees Fahrenheit (163 degrees Celsius). This will help to prevent the cookies from browning too much and will also help to keep them soft and chewy.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before storing them. This will help to prevent them from sticking together.

Conclusion:

Lemon snowdrops are a delicious and easy-to-make cookie that is perfect for any occasion. They are soft and chewy, with a sweet and tangy lemon flavor. These cookies are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
