A yummy gluten-free family favorite. Company prefer this adaptation to the regular crisp. Other fruits could easily be substituted for the apples.

Tips:
- Use a variety of apples. This will give your crisp a more complex flavor and texture. Some good options include Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, and Pink Lady.
- Peel and slice the apples thinly. This will help them cook evenly.
- Don't overcrowd the baking dish. The apples should be in a single layer so that they can cook properly.
- Use a combination of gluten-free and sugar-free flours. This will help to create a crispy topping.
- Don't overmix the topping. Just mix it until it is crumbly.
- Bake the crisp until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender. This will usually take about 45 minutes.
- Serve the crisp warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. This will make it even more delicious!
