Categories     Drop Cookies

Time 15m

Yield 24 cookies

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/4 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2-1 cup margarine
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil.
  • Cook for 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add remaining ingredients.
  • Mix well and drop by teaspoon onto wax paper.
  • Let cool.
  • Note: After I have let them cool, I put them in the fridge.
  • They seem to harden better, plus they taste good that way.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate. The better the chocolate, the better the dessert will be. Look for chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 70%. Using chocolates with high cocoa content can result in a healthier dessert.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature. This will help it blend smoothly with the other ingredients. Do not use hot cream cheese.
  • Don't overbeat the mixture. Overbeating can make the dessert dense and tough. Mix until only well blended.
  • Chill the dessert for at least 4 hours (or overnight) before serving. This will help it set and firm up.
  • Serve the dessert with fresh berries or whipped cream. This will add a touch of sweetness and freshness.

Conclusion:

No-bake chocolate delight is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is made with simple ingredients that you probably already have on hand, and it can be made in just a few minutes. The dessert is also very versatile, so you can customize it to your liking. For example, you could add nuts, fruit, or even peanut butter to the mixture. You could also use different types of chocolate, such as dark chocolate or milk chocolate.
