Time 1h5m

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 box butter pecan cake mix
29oz+15oz can(s) sliced, yellow cling peaches in syrup (drain 15oz can)
1 stick butter, thinly sliced
1 c flaked coconut
1 c finely chopped pecans

Steps:

  • 1. Place peaches and syrup in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  • 2. Place butter slices evenly over the cake mix. Sprinkle coconut on top of the butter. Sprinkle pecans over the coconut.
  • 3. Bake at 325-350F for 50-60 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 20 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • Choose ripe peaches: Using ripe peaches will ensure that your crisp is bursting with flavor. Look for peaches that are slightly soft to the touch and have a sweet aroma.
  • Use a variety of nuts: This recipe calls for a combination of walnuts and pecans, but you can use any type of nuts that you like. Some other good options include almonds, hazelnuts, and pistachios.
  • Make sure the topping is crumbly: The topping for this crisp should be crumbly, not too dry or too wet. If the topping is too dry, it will be difficult to spread over the peaches. If the topping is too wet, it will be soggy.
  • Bake the crisp until the topping is golden brown: The crisp is done baking when the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling. This usually takes about 30-35 minutes.
  • Serve the crisp warm or cold: This crisp can be served warm or cold. If you serve it warm, top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. If you serve it cold, let it cool completely before slicing and serving.

Conclusion:

This nutty peach crisp is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. The combination of sweet peaches, crunchy nuts, and crumbly topping is sure to please everyone. So next time you are looking for a tasty treat, give this nutty peach crisp a try!
