4 cups canned sliced peaches with juice
1 cup frozen blueberries
¾ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup white sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ cup butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 9x9-inch glass baking dish.

1/2 cup water

1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup shortening
1 egg
¼ cup cold water
3 pounds fresh peaches - peeled, pitted, and sliced
¼ cup lemon juice
¾ cup orange juice
½ cup butter
2 cups white sugar
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon butter, melted

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, 3 tablespoons sugar, and salt. Work in the shortening with a pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. 1/3 cup refrigerated butter, cut into cubes
