ORANGE STREUSEL LOAF CAKE

Orange Streusel Loaf Cake image

This yummy cake is my potluck specialty and everyone absolutely loves it. It comes from a recipe on the side of the Duncan Hines Orange Supreme cake mix. It is one of the most moist and tastiest cakes I've ever eaten. The orange cake mixes can sometimes be hard to find so another suggestion would be to use the Tropical cake mix. Either way, mmm-mmm good!!!

Tips:

  • Choose the right pumpkin. For the best flavor, use a sugar pumpkin or pie pumpkin. These pumpkins are small and have a sweet, dense flesh.
  • Roast the pumpkin ahead of time. This will help to concentrate the flavor and make it easier to work with.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can make the loaves tough.
  • Make sure the loaves are cooked through before removing them from the oven. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean.
  • Let the loaves cool completely before glazing them. This will help the glaze to set properly.

Conclusion:

These orange pumpkin mini loaves with cinnamon orange streusel are a delicious and festive fall treat. They are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.
