PEACH AVOCADO SALSA

Peach Avocado Salsa image

Fresh peaches with creamy avocado, bell pepper, onions, and jalapeno make a great summertime salsa. Use as a topper for grilled fish or chicken, or just dip tortilla chips in it. Not a fan of avocados? The salsa is just as great without it. The longer it can marinate, the better it is.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe avocados. Ripe avocados should yield to gentle pressure when squeezed. Avoid avocados that are too hard or too soft.
  • Use fresh peaches. Fresh peaches should be fragrant and have a slight give when pressed. Avoid peaches that are bruised or have brown spots.
  • Chop the ingredients evenly. This will help ensure that the salsa has a consistent texture and flavor.
  • Add the lime juice at the end. This will help prevent the avocado from browning.
