Time 7h10m

Yield 8 servings

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, plus more for greasing
4 cups marshmallow crème, such as Fluff
2 cups crispy rice cereal
2 cups pretzels, coarsely crushed
One 8-ounce package cream cheese, at room temperature
1 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
1 cup heavy cream

Steps:

  • Butter a 9 1/2-inch deep-dish pie dish.
  • Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Add 2 cups of the marshmallow creme and whisk continuously until melted and combined with the butter, about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the cereal and pretzels until coated. Press the mixture into the bottom and all the way up the sides of the prepared pie dish.
  • Meanwhile, beat the cream cheese, 1 cup of the marshmallow crème and 1 cup of the peanut butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth, about 2 minutes. Slowly pour in the heavy cream and continue beating until light, fluffy and stiff peaks form, about 5 minutes.
  • Pour the filling into the crust and smooth out the top, taking care not to cover the crust edge. Microwave the remaining 1/4 cup peanut butter in a small microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and pourable, about 1 minute.
  • Drizzle half of the peanut butter over the pie. Spoon the remaining 1 cup marshmallow creme onto the center of the pie and smooth it out slightly so that it looks like a soft marshmallow pillow. Drizzle with the remaining peanut butter. Chill until set, 6 hours and up to overnight.

Time 25m

Number Of Ingredients 4

1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 c water
10-13 oz marshmallow cream
3/4 to 1 c peanut butter

Steps:

  • 1. Put the sugar and the water in a sauce pan. Bring it to a boil and stir until sugar is melted. Set it aside to cool until about lukewarm.
  • 2. Put Marshmallow Cream and Peanut Butter in a bowl. Start adding Simple Syrup maybe about 1/2 cup. Mix and add the Simple Syrup until it is as thin as cake batter. It will get thick when you store it in the fridge. Use this as a yummy Ice Cream topping!! Any leftover Simple Syrup can be stored in the fridge for thinning if it is too thick.

Tips:

  • Use smooth peanut butter: Creamy peanut butter will give you a smoother, more uniform fluff. If you only have chunky peanut butter, you can blend it until smooth in a food processor.
  • Chill your ingredients: Chilling the peanut butter, cream cheese, and marshmallow fluff before you start will help them combine more easily and give you a fluffier result.
  • Don't overbeat the mixture: Overbeating the mixture will make it too stiff and dry. Beat it just until it is light and fluffy.
  • Add mix-ins: You can add a variety of mix-ins to your peanut butter fluff, such as chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or shredded coconut. Be creative and have fun!
  • Serve immediately or chill: Peanut butter fluff can be served immediately or chilled for later. If you are chilling it, let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before serving so that it softens slightly.

Conclusion:

Peanut butter fluff is a delicious and versatile treat that can be enjoyed in many different ways. Whether you spread it on a sandwich, dip fruit in it, or use it as a filling for pies and cakes, peanut butter fluff is sure to please everyone. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy dessert, give peanut butter fluff a try. You won't be disappointed!
