Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better your pecan fingers will taste. Look for pecans that are plump and have a rich, nutty flavor.
  • Toast the pecans: Toasting the pecans before using them will enhance their flavor and make them more fragrant.
  • Use a sharp knife to slice the pecans: This will help to prevent them from crumbling.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make the pecan fingers tough.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough will help to prevent it from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the pecan fingers until they are golden brown: This will ensure that they are cooked through.
