1/2 lb beef ((ribeye or top round), thinly sliced or diced)
1/2 medium onion (chopped)
1/2 red pepper (diced)
1/2 green pepper (diced)
6 oz mushrooms (diced)
3 slices provolone cheese ((avoid aged cheese), sliced in half)
1 Tbsp light olive oil (divided)
1 garlic clove (minced)
¼ tsp sea salt (or to taste)
1/8 tsp ground black pepper (or to taste)
2 tsp mayo (optional)

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, heat 2 tsp oil, once hot add the chopped meat. Season with salt and pepper and cook until meat is fully cooked. Remove from skillet and cover to keep warm.

2 small onions, sliced
2 green bell peppers, sliced
1 cup barbeque sauce (such as Bull's-Eye® Texas-Style Bold Barbeque Sauce)
8 (10 inch) flour tortillas
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat; cook and stir beef until browned, 5 to 7 minutes. Add onions and green bell peppers to beef; cook and stir until softened, 5 to 10 minutes. Pour barbeque sauce over beef mixture and simmer until sauce is slightly reduced, about 10 minutes.

2 large green peppers, sliced
1 large sweet onion, sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 packages (12 ounces each) Hawaiian sweet rolls
1-1/2 pounds sliced deli roast beef
12 slices provolone cheese
3/4 cup butter
1-1/2 teaspoons dried minced onion
1-1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook green peppers and onion in oil over medium-high heat until tender, 8-10 minutes. Without separating rolls, cut each package of rolls in half horizontally; arrange bottom halves in a greased 13x9-in. baking pan.
