Time 40m

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 box Ritz crackers
1 jar(s) peanut butter
1 jar(s) marshmallow cream
1 pkg chocolate bark

Steps:

  • 1. Spread peanut butter on one Ritz crackers.
  • 2. Then add marshmallow cream to another cracker.
  • 3. Sandwich both together.
  • 4. Place cookies on waxed paper and allow to harden. (I find that if you put the paper or Silpat on a cookie sheet and place it in the freezer for 5 minutes, the cookies harden up faster!).
  • 5. Melt chocolate bark (I like Ghirardelli the best) in a microwave or double boiler.
  • 6. Dip sandwiched cookies into chocolate, covering both sides. After they harden, store in an airtight container.
  • 7. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • Use dark chocolate. Dark chocolate contains high levels of magnesium, which can help to reduce PMS symptoms such as cramps, bloating, and mood swings.
  • Add nuts and seeds. Nuts and seeds are a good source of healthy fats, protein, and fiber. They can help to keep you feeling full and satisfied, and they may also help to reduce PMS symptoms.
  • Use natural sweeteners. Refined sugar can worsen PMS symptoms. Try using natural sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, or stevia instead.
  • Make sure your cookies are well-baked. Underbaked cookies can be difficult to digest and may cause stomach upset. Make sure your cookies are baked through before you eat them.
  • Enjoy your cookies in moderation. Even though these cookies are healthier than traditional PMS cookies, they are still high in calories and sugar. Enjoy them in moderation as part of a healthy diet.

Conclusion:

PMS cookies can be a helpful way to manage PMS symptoms. They are easy to make and can be tailored to your individual needs. By following the tips above, you can make PMS cookies that are both delicious and healthy.
