1 pound pork tenderloin
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 bunch fresh sage, leaves removed and stems discarded, divided
6 ounces prosciutto
1 tablespoon olive oil, or more as needed

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Tips:

  • For the best results, use a high-quality pork tenderloin. Look for one that is firm and evenly colored, with no signs of bruising or discoloration.
  • To ensure that your pork tenderloin cooks evenly, pound it out to an even thickness before searing it. This will help it cook more quickly and evenly.
  • Be careful not to overcook the pork tenderloin, as it will become dry and tough. Cook it until it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare, or 160 degrees Fahrenheit for medium.
  • Allow the pork tenderloin to rest for a few minutes before slicing it. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more tender and flavorful dish.
  • Serve the pork tenderloin with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple green salad.

Conclusion:

Prosciutto-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin with Goat Cheese is a delicious and elegant dish that is perfect for a special occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. Whether you serve it with a simple sauce or a more elaborate one, this dish is sure to impress your guests.
