Tips:

  • When choosing country ham, look for one that is cured for at least 12 months. This will ensure that the ham has a rich, smoky flavor.
  • If you are using a pre-made pie crust, be sure to thaw it according to the package directions before filling it.
  • To prevent the quiche from becoming soggy, pre-bake the pie crust for 10-12 minutes before adding the filling.
  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best flavor.
  • Don't overmix the filling. Overmixing can make the quiche tough.
  • Bake the quiche until the center is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the quiche cool for at least 15 minutes before serving. This will allow the flavors to meld and the quiche to set properly.
