2 tablespoons sugar

1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup pineapple juice
6 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
3/4 cup strawberry preserves

Steps:

  • Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. In medium bowl, stir all filling ingredients until well blended; set aside.
  • In medium bowl, stir all batter ingredients with wire whisk or fork until well blended. Pour batter into baking dish. Pour filling evenly over batter. Cover; refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight.
  • Heat oven to 325°F. Uncover baking dish; bake 55 to 60 minutes or until golden brown and center is set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Top servings with sour cream and strawberry preserves.

1 (1 pound) loaf white bread
4 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup butter, melted
1 pint sour cream

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a cookie sheet generously with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Trim crusts from bread and roll the slices flat.
  • In a small bowl combine sugar and cinnamon to make a mixture.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix softened cream cheese, milk and vanilla until smooth. Spread this mixture onto each slice of flattened bread. Roll each bread slice up. 2 large packages crescent rolls or 2 sheets of puff pastry cut to fit the pan
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
2 egg yolks or 1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

1/2 cup Bisquick
3 tablespoons sugar
3 eggs, beaten

  • Preheat oven to 350°.

Steps:

Batter-mix together:
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 ½ cups milk
2 ½ cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
Filling-mix together:
1 lb dry cottage cheese
4 Tbsp butter
2 eggs
4 Tbsp sugar
1 lb cream cottage cheese

Steps:

  • alternate layers of each mixture, starting with batter pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan bake 1 hour @ 350°

Tips:

  • To make the blintz batter, simply whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Then, whisk in the eggs, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
  • To make the filling, combine the ricotta cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Mix until well combined.
