Tips:

  • Choose fresh, firm vegetables: Look for cauliflower and Brussels sprouts that are brightly colored and free of blemishes. Avoid any vegetables that are wilted or have brown spots.
  • Trim and cut the vegetables evenly: This will help them cook evenly. For the cauliflower, remove the outer leaves and cut the head into 1-inch florets. For the Brussels sprouts, trim the ends and cut them in half lengthwise.
  • Toss the vegetables with olive oil, salt, and pepper: This will help them roast evenly and develop a nice golden brown color.
  • Roast the vegetables at a high temperature: This will help them caramelize and develop a roasted flavor. Roast the vegetables for 20-25 minutes, or until they are tender and slightly browned.
  • Add the bacon: Cook the bacon over medium heat until it is crispy. Drain the bacon on paper towels and then crumble it.
  • Toss the vegetables with the bacon and parsley: This will add a delicious smoky flavor to the vegetables.

This roasted cauliflower and Brussels sprouts with bacon is a delicious and easy-to-make side dish that is perfect for any occasion. The vegetables are roasted until tender and slightly browned, and the bacon adds a delicious smoky flavor. This dish is sure to be a hit with everyone at your table!
