2 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
2 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
2 cups Apple Cinnamon Cheerios™ cereal
3 cups Bugles® original corn snacks
1 1/2 cups dry-roasted peanuts
2 egg whites
2 tablespoons orange juice or water
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 300°F. Spray with cooking spray or grease 15x10x1-inch pan.
  • In very large bowl, mix cereals, corn snacks and peanuts. In small bowl, beat egg whites, orange juice, sugar and cinnamon with wire whisk or hand beater until foamy. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated. Spread in pan.
  • Bake 45 to 50 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes, until light brown and crisp. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Store in airtight container.

2 cups thin wheat snack crackers
2 cups pretzel sticks
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1 egg white
2 tsp. water
1/2 tsp. grated lemon zest
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Mix crackers, pretzels, raisins and pecans in large bowl; set aside. Beat egg white, water and lemon zest in small bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Drizzle evenly over crackers mixture; toss to coat. Sprinkle with combined sugar and cinnamon; mix lightly.
  • Spread in single layer in greased foil-lined 15x10x1-inch baking pan.
  • Bake 20 min., stirring occasionally. Cool completely. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.

1 egg white
1 cup cashews, unsalted
1/2 cup pecan halves, unsalted
1/2 cup almonds, unsalted
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325F degrees.
  • Grease a baking sheet and set aside.
  • Beat egg white in a large bowl with a fork or whisk until foamy.
  • Stir in two cups of unsalted nuts until coated (amounts listed are my favourites, but any combination can be used, as can other nuts such as peanuts or walnuts).
  • Stir in sugar and spices; toss with nuts until coated.
  • Put nuts onto prepared baking sheet.
  • Spread out well.
  • Bake, stirring often, until golden-- about 20-25 minutes .
  • Cool completely.
  • Store in an airtight container.

  • Put oven rack in middle position and preheat oven to 350°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly butter parchment.

1 teaspoon apple pie spice
3 1/2 ounces dark chocolate
sugar
2 cinnamon sticks (I actually use 2 sticks in mine, yumm)
1/3 cup heavy cream, lightly whipped

  • Pour milk in a pan.
  • Sprinkle apple spice onto milk.
  • Break or chop chocolate into pieces and add to milk.
  • Add enough sugar to sweeten to your taste.
