2 fluid ounces ginger beer
1 ½ fluid ounces Alcoholic beverage, distilled, rum, 80 proof
1 fluid ounce orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier®)
1 fluid ounce orange juice
1 slice orange

Steps:

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add ginger beer, rum, orange liqueur, and orange juice. Shake, then strain into an ice-filled glass. Garnish with orange slice.

Soup - Summer Storm

Number Of Ingredients 12

1/2 cups leek, sliced
1/2 cup sweet onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 medium carrots, grated
3/4 cup lentils
Water or stock to cover
2 tablespoons olive oil
Pinch red pepper flakes
2 teaspoon Italian herbs
1 bay leaf
salt to taste
1 Tablespoons parsley

Steps:

  • In medium soup pot, saute onion, leek, carrots and garlic in olive oil 5 minutes. Add lentils and enough water or stock to cover lentils. Add seasonings, except parsley and simmer 20 minutes. Taste for salt and adjust to your liking. Add parsley. I add another 1 or 2 T olive oil to finish.
