Tips:

  • Use a stand mixer or handheld electric mixer to cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. This will help to create a smooth, creamy cookie dough.
  • Chill the cookie dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help to prevent the cookies from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the cookies at a moderate temperature (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are just starting to brown. Overbaking will make the cookies dry and crumbly.
  • Let the cookies cool on a wire rack before frosting them. This will help to prevent the frosting from melting.
  • If you don't have any orange zest on hand, you can use 1 teaspoon of orange extract instead.
  • You can also use a different flavor of frosting, such as chocolate or vanilla, if you prefer.
  • These cookies are best enjoyed fresh, but they can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Conclusion:

These Tang Creamsicle Cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are made with simple ingredients that you probably already have on hand, and they can be ready to enjoy in just over an hour. So next time you are looking for a sweet and refreshing snack, give these cookies a try. You won't be disappointed!
