3 cloves garlic, peeled, or to taste
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided, or to taste
1 pinch garlic salt, or to taste
1 (14 ounce) package store-bought pizza crust
1 cup finely chopped spinach
¾ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste
¾ cup shredded Italian cheese blend, or to taste
1 (12 ounce) lobster tail - shelled, cleaned, and diced
8 ounces shrimp, cleaned and diced
1 red onion, diced
1 (2.25 ounce) can sliced black olives, or to taste
½ teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®), or to taste
kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees F (95 degrees C).
  • Place garlic in a small stainless steel bowl; drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil and cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until tender and browned, about 1 hour. Remove and chop garlic. Increase oven temperature to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Grease a 10x12-inch pan with the remaining olive oil; sprinkle lightly with garlic salt. Place crust onto the pan.

Seafood Pizza Recipe - (4.4/5) image

Provided by Booper-2

Number Of Ingredients 17

PIZZA DOUGH:
1 package regular active dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water (105°F to 115°F)
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon sugar
TOPPINGS:
12 uncooked medium fresh shrimp, in shells
1 cup pizza sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, about 4 ounces
1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese, about 2 ounces
8 anchovy fillets in oil
1/2 pound bay scallops
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped

Steps:

  • PIZZA DOUGH: In large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in half of the flour, the oil, salt and sugar. Stir in enough remaining flour to make dough easy enough to handle. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface; knead about 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Place dough in large bowl greased with shortening, turning dough to grease all sides. Cover and let rise in warm place 20 minutes. Gently push fist into dough to deflate. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours but no longer than 48 hours, deflating dough occasionally. Move oven rack to lowest position. Heat oven to 500°F. On lightly floured surface, press or roll dough into 12-inch round. Place on ungreased pizza screen or in 12-inch perforated pizza pan. Press dough from center to edge so edge is thicker than center. TOPPINGS: Peel shrimp, leaving tails intact. Spread pizza sauce over dough to within 1/2 inch of edge. Sprinkle cheeses over sauce. Arrange shrimp, anchovies and scallops on cheeses. Sprinkle basil, pepper and garlic over seafood. Bake about 10 minutes or until shrimp are pink and firm, scallops are white and cheeses are melted.

SEAFOOD PIZZA

Seafood Pizza image

This was created to mimic the wonderful seafood pizza we used to enjoy at Pizzeria Uno in Cincinnati Ohio. It's especially easy with a boboli crust but making your own crust may taste better. I recommend using the fake crab rather than canned, but fresh crab would be best. It's rich and delicious. I love to dip it in cocktail sauce. YUMMY!!

Steps:

  • Combine salt, sugar and yeast into the warm water and mix well. Let it stand for about 10 mins)
  • Pour in the yeast mixture little by little into the flour and using a mixer combine the ingredients well.
  • Add in a few drops of olive oil while the mixer is running and add in the yeast mixture as needed.
  • The dough will form to be a soft ball.
  • I divided the dough into two and placed it into two separate large bowls. (Lightly grease the bowl before using)
  • Cover the bowl with damp cloth and set aside to rise.
  • Mix the tuna with a little salt, dried basil leave and ground black pepper. Set aside.
  • On to the baked pizza base, spread some mayonnaise + dijon mustard sauce.
  • Sprinkle a thin layer of mozarella cheese (this is to ensure that the topping doesn't fall off) and followed by the tuna mixture.
  • Arrange the crabsticks and sprinkle some corn kernels.
  • Top it with some chilly sauce and thousand island sauce. (Use moderately)
  • Another layer of cheese and back to the oven for 10 mins or until crust gets browned. ENJOY!!!

Tips:

  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients: The quality of your ingredients will directly impact the flavor of your pizza. Opt for fresh seafood, vegetables, and herbs whenever possible.
  • Don't overcrowd the pizza: Too many toppings can make your pizza soggy and difficult to cook evenly. Stick to a moderate amount of toppings so that each one can shine through.
  • Use a light hand with the sauce: A thick layer of sauce can make your pizza soggy. Instead, use a thin, even layer of sauce so that the other flavors can come through.
  • Cook the pizza at a high temperature: A high temperature will help to create a crispy crust and prevent the pizza from becoming soggy. Aim for a temperature of around 450°F (230°C).
  • Watch the pizza closely while it's cooking: Seafood can cook quickly, so it's important to keep an eye on the pizza to prevent it from overcooking.
