Number Of Ingredients 10

1 lb ground turkey
1 teaspoon chili powder
7 ounces uncooked macaroni noodles
2 teaspoons oil
2 1/2 cups fat free chicken broth
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1 teaspoon garlic salt
6 tablespoons parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tablespoons parsley

Steps:

  • Saute turkey, drain and save juices.
  • Return to pan and add chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
  • Add macaroni and simmer for 10 minutes, stir often until broth is almost absorbed. Stir in all remaining ingredients. Except 2 tablespoons of cheese and parsley.
  • Simmer 10 minutes.
  • Transfer to casserole dish if desired and sprinkle cheese and parsley on top.

2 Tbsp olive oil
1 lb lean ground turkey
1 c chopped onion
16 oz black beans
1 1/4 oz ortega chili seasoning mix
16 oz salsa
1 1/2 c water
8 oz elbow macaroni, penne pasta or pasta shells, uncooked
1 tsp salt
1 c shredded cheddar (i used more)

Steps:

  • 1. heat oil in large skillet over med heat until hot. Add turkey and onion. Cook and stir in seasoning mix. Add beans, salsa, macaroni, water and salt; stir well. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 15 min, stirring halfway through cooking to prevent sticking. Mix in cheese. Cook and stir until cheese is melted.
