1/4 cup evaporated milk
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
4-1/4 to 4-3/4 cups confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup each chopped citron, candies pineapple, and green and red candied cherries
3/4 cup finely chopped almonds

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the butter, milk, almond extract and salt. ¼ cup honey
2 large eggs eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups quick-cooking oats
1 teaspoon baking soda

2 ½ cups cornflakes cereal
1 cup chopped mixed dried fruit
¾ cup raisins

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugar. Beat in molasses and honey. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup sour cream
1 large egg
2 cups sweetened flaked coconut, toasted until golden and cooled
1 cup packed dried apricots (about 7 ounces), quartered
1 cup dried cranberries (about 5 ounces)
