WORLD'S BEST PUMPKIN BREAD EVER

World's Best Pumpkin Bread Ever image

This is a great pumpkin bread/cake recipe. It makes three "loaves." If you're looking for a savory bread with undertones of pumpkin, you're in the wrong place--this recipe has a relatively rich and wonderfully moist and sweet consistency. This recipe can easily can be used for a pumpkin bundt cake as well. This bread/cake does not need a glaze to stay moist, so if you insist on glazing it, only add glaze (perhaps as a dip or drizzle) as you eat it so you don't exceed the liquid capacity of the batter and cause it to fall apart. Refrigerate if not consumed within the first 1-3 days (depending on the temperature/humidity in your home). A close friend's mother's recipe (mad props Sarah H.)! Tips:

  • Use fresh pumpkin puree. Canned pumpkin puree is a convenient option, but fresh pumpkin puree will give your bread a richer flavor and a more tender texture.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in a tough, dense bread. Mix the batter just until it is combined.
  • Use a loaf pan that is at least 9x5 inches. A smaller loaf pan will result in a thicker, denser bread.
  • Bake the bread until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. This will ensure that the bread is cooked through.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing. This will help to prevent the bread from crumbling.

Conclusion:

Pumpkin bread is a delicious and versatile treat that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It is also a great way to use up leftover pumpkin puree. With so many different recipes to choose from, there is sure to be a pumpkin bread recipe that everyone will love.
