My mom used to make this "coke cake" when I was a little girl. I found the recipe recently and it was just as my mama used to make!

Steps:
- 1. Directions for making the cake: Preheat over to 350*
- 2. In large mixing bowl, sift sugar & flour; add marshmallows In sauce pan, mix butter, oil, cocoa and cola. Bring to a boil and pour over dry ingredients, blend well.
- 3. Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk, then along with the eggs and vanilla extract, add to cake batter.
- 4. Pour into well greased 9x13 pan for 35-45min. Remove from oven and frost immediately
- 5. DIRECTIONS FOR FROSTING
- 6. Place confectioner's sugar in a large bowl. In sauce pan, combine butter, cocoa and cola. Bring to a boil and pour over confectioner's sugar. Blend well.
- 7. Add vanilla extract and pecans. Spread over hot cake. Frosting will melt into cake but will also make a fudgey topping over the cake also.
- 8. Cool then cut into squares and serve alone or with ice cream.
