Corn Casserole image

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 (15 1/4 ounce )can whole kennel corn, drained
1 (14-3/4-ounce) can cream style corn
1 oz ( 8 ounce ) package corn muffin mix, recommended jiffy
1 c sour cream
1/2 c or ( 1 stick) of butter ,melted
1 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350'F
  • 2. In a bowl, stir together the 2 cans of corn , muffin mix, sour cream and melted butter. Pour into a greased 9 by 13 casserole dish. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown, Remove from the oven , add cheese on top of the corn . Return back to the oven for 5 to 10 minutes until cheese melt. let stand for 5- minutes after removed from oven, Serve warm.

I tried this recipe last night and it turned out great! The casserole was cooked evenly and had a nice golden brown crust. The corn was still slightly crunchy, which I liked. The only thing I would change is to add a little more salt. Overall, this i
