Cottage Cheese Fruit Salad image

This is a light fruit salad that goes well with chicken or pork. The cottage cheese keeps it from being overly sweet. Please note prep time includes chilling time. Kids like this, too!

This salad is a bit too sweet for my taste. I would reduce the amount of sugar in the dressing next time.

I'm not a big fan of cottage cheese, but I really enjoyed this salad. The fruit and nuts helped to balance out the flavor of the cottage cheese.

This salad is a great way to use up leftover fruit. I always have a few pieces of fruit that are about to go bad, and this salad is a perfect way to use them up.
