Crab Dip Layered image

Quick and easy recipe for that last minute appetizer..enjoy.

8 oz pkg. cream cheese ,room temperature
6 oz pkg. crab meat, flaked
1/2 c heinz sweet chili sauce,or enough to cover crab
garnishes old bay seasoning and parmesan cheese
serve with assorted crackers and celery sticks

Steps:

  • 1. Beat together cream cheese in a medium bowl and spread onto a plate or small platter. Sprinkle with Old Bay , lightly.
  • 2. Pick over the crab meat, to be sure there aren't any shells. Spread evenly over cream cheese.
  • 3. Pour and spread sweet chili sauce evenly over top of crab..sprinkle lightly with Parmesan cheese, if desired.Chill covered until ready to serve.. Serve with assorted crackers and celery sticks.
