CRANBERRY CORDIAL image

Yield 1 bottle

Number Of Ingredients 3

4 cups cranberries
3 cups sugar
1 cup gin

Steps:

  • Wash and clean cranberries. Chop coarsely. Place in large (64-oz) screw-top jar. Add sugar and gin. Invert jar for 24 hours. Turn upright for 24 hours. Repeat, turning for 3 weeks. Strain through cheese cloth into bottles with tight-fitting tops. Serve at room temperature. Reserve strained cranberries, cover and refrigerate for a fancy topping on poundcake, muffins, or ice cream.
