Goulash is the national dish of Hungary and the Hungarian paprika is a characteristic seasoning. The stew meat becomes nice and tender after cooking all day. This is a great comfort food meal with the addition of the cooked egg noodles.

Steps:
- 1. In a 3 1/2 or 4 quart slow cooker, combine onion, green bell pepper and garlic. Top with meat. In a small bowl combine tomato paste, 1/2 cup water, paprika, 1/4 tsp salt, and pepper. Pour over meat.
- 2. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 10-12 hours or on high heat setting for 5-6 hours.
- 3. Serve over hot cooked noodles. Pass sour cream.
