Number Of Ingredients 7

2 pkg (pans) small dinner rolls (i use mrs. schubert's)
3/4 lb each, ham and turkey (deli sliced thin)
8-12 oz shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella or 3-cheese mix)
2 Tbsp sugar
1 stick margarine
2 Tbsp poppy seeds
1 Tbsp mustard

Steps:

  • 1. Melt together the mustard, sugar, margarine (or butter if you prefer) and poppy seeds.
  • 2. Cut rolls in half with an electric or bread knife.
  • 3. Remove tops and brush bottoms with some of the mustard mixture. Layer meat and cheeses, place tops back on rolls and brush tops with remaining mustard mixture.

I've made these rolls several times now and they are always a hit. They are so versatile and you can fill them with whatever you like. I've tried them with ham and cheese, pepperoni and mozzarella, and even Nutella. They are all delicious.
