Gingersnap Pears image

I made this recipe looked like an easy fruit crisp, and I happened to have all the ingredients on hand. It was a huge hit with our guest. I'm sure it would be just as delicious with fresh pears.-Dodi Mahan Walker, Peachtree City , Georgia

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my pears were mushy and the glaze was too runny. I think I'll try this recipe again with a different type of pear.

These pears were a bit too sweet for my taste, but they were still good. I think next time I'll use less sugar in the glaze.

These pears were so easy to make and they turned out so well! I used Bosc pears and they held their shape perfectly. The glaze was the perfect balance of sweet and tart.
