Through the years I have had many girls in my units in camp, and "Boo" was a PA (program aide) several years. She requested to be in my unit her last year as a PA, and asked me to make this recipe in camp. She gave me her favorite recipe, and I have to admit it is pretty good! Just don't let the girls add pineapple or fruit...

Steps:
- 1. We put the hamburger into a Dutch Oven and heated. Each girl can dump their undrained can of veggies into the pot. Warm through and serve.
- 2. You get a lot of different veggies brought into camp, so each time this is made, you get a little different flavor.
- 3. I like to add onion to just about everything, so I add to the hamburger. It is also good with chopped green peppers fried with the hamburger and onions. There is no seasoning added, so feel free to add what you want.

[email protected]The stew was good, but it was a little too salty for my taste. I would recommend using less salt than the recipe calls for.
