Grannie's Oatmeal Raisin Pie image

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 eggs, well beaten
2/3 c brown sugar, firmly packed
2/3 c quick -cooking oats, uncooked
1/2 c raisins, softened in warm water
2 Tbsp butter,melted
1/2 c walnuts or pecans, chopped
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 8" pie crust (unbaked)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375*
  • 2. Mix together well, beaten eggs, sugar, oats, cinnamon, and melted butter
  • 3. Fold in softened raisins and nuts.
  • 4. Pour into pie shell, and bake 30 minutes... Enjoy!! (GREAT served with vanilla ice cream)
