Time 13m

Yield 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 cup all-purpose flour
3 ounces toasted and ground pecans
1 teaspoon salt
8 ounces warm water

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, place all purpose flour, salt, and toasted pecans. Slowly start whipping together, adding the warm water slowly until it makes a smooth dough. The dough should be smooth and lightly sticky.
  • Let rest for 2 to 3 minutes. Make into 2 ounce portions when ready to roll out tortillas. Make sure to flour the surface to avoid the tortillas sticking. Place the ball of the dough on the floured surface and roll into 6 inch round tortillas.
  • Cook tortillas on a hot griddle 1/2 minute on each side.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but these tortillas were a complete disaster. They were so dry and hard I couldn't even eat them.

The recipe was easy to follow, but the tortillas didn't turn out as I expected. They were a bit too thick and crumbly.

These tortillas were a bit too dry for my taste. I think I'll try adding some more moisture next time.

I'm not a huge fan of pecans, but I actually really liked these tortillas. The flavor is very mild and they're really soft and chewy.

These tortillas are a game-changer! They're so much better than store-bought tortillas and they're really easy to make. I'll never buy tortillas again.

I was skeptical about making my own tortillas, but this recipe made it so easy. The tortillas turned out great and were a hit with my family.

I've tried many pecan tortilla recipes, but this one is by far the best. The tortillas are soft and pliable, with a delicious nutty flavor. They're perfect for tacos, burritos, or just eating on their own.

These tortillas were so easy to make and turned out perfectly! I used a cast iron skillet and they cooked evenly and quickly. They were the perfect vessel for my breakfast tacos.
