LAYERED YAM APPLE CASSEROLE
Steps:
- Peel and core apples. Peel yams. Cut both apples and yams into 1/4-1/2" slices. Spray 9x13 lasagna pan with non-stick. Layer apples and yams (vertically looks nicer but horizontally is easier) to fill pan. Melt butter, mix in sugar, oj and spices. Pour over the apples and yams. Cover with foil and cook at 350 for one hour, or until tender. Serve immediately or cool and reheat the next day.
