MAPLE WALNUT PIE image

1 unbaked 9" pie shell- 4 large eggs- 3/4 c REAL maple syrup- 1/4 tsp lemon juice- dash cinnamon- 1/4 c melted butter- 1/2 tsp vanilla- 1/2 tsp salt- 2 c walnut pieces

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375. Beat together all ingredients, except walnuts, until smooth. spread walnuts in crust, pour batter over nuts, bake 30 minutes or until firm. Great hot with a good French vanilla ice cream. This is simple but incredibly good, and pecans make an excellent substitution.
