Molasses Mistake Cornbread image

A moist cornbread made with molasses. It doesn't use any butter, because it really doesn't need it. I came up with this one night when I was trying to make a cornbread sweetened with molasses. When I was cooking it, I realized that I'd forgotten to put butter in it. I ended up cooking it anyway, and it didn't need any.

I'm allergic to molasses, so I substituted honey in this recipe. It turned out great! The honey added a subtle sweetness that I really enjoyed.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my cornbread came out dry and crumbly. I'm not sure what I did wrong.

This cornbread was a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I would have preferred it without the molasses. Otherwise, it was a good recipe.

I was skeptical about using molasses in cornbread, but I'm so glad I tried it! It gives the bread a wonderful depth of flavor and keeps it moist for days. I've already shared the recipe with all my friends.

This cornbread is a game-changer! The molasses adds a rich, sweet flavor that perfectly complements the cornmeal. It's moist and fluffy on the inside, with a slightly crispy crust on the outside. I'll definitely be making this again and again.
