This was a staple on our family table when Dad wanted pork chops. Mom didn't like to fry pork chops because of the grease and it is hard to get them tender without overcooking them. So this baked recipe fit the bill. It is easy and really good.

Steps:
- 1. Heat oven to 350°. Salt and pepper porkchops lightly on both sides. Place in a baking dish in a single layer.
- 2. Top EACH CHOP with the following in order: One or two Thin onion slices , one or two Thin Lemon slices, and a Tablespoon or two of catsup. Spread catsup to cover.
- 3. Add about 3-4 Tbsp. water to the pan, Cover with Foil and bake at 350 until fork tender. Check the chops after 30 minutes and then every 15 minutes til you can stick a fork into them and they are tender.
- 4. If you like, you can remove the foil for the last 15 minutes to let the toppings brown a little. Remove from pan with spatula and serve.
