Oatmeal, Raisin, Sunflower Seed Cookies image

This is my favorite cookie that my grandma made. A cookie that sneaks all sorts of healthy things in on you but is still very yummy.

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 1/4 cups quick oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup wheat germ
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup corn oil
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup unsalted sunflower seeds

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325°F Mix all ingredients together in mixing bowl. Form into 1" balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
  • If you find them hard to form into the 1" balls, add a tiny bit of water to the recipe to make it less crumbly.
