Old-fashioned Mustard Pickle image

This is one of my mother's recipes. I have never made it but I certainly remember eating it! The pickles are very tart but tasty for anyone who likes mustard.

Can you use this pickle in place of relish on a hot dog?

I'm allergic to mustard. Is there a way to make this pickle without mustard?

This recipe is too complicated. I don't have time to spend hours making pickles.

This pickle is way too expensive. I can buy a jar of mustard pickles at the store for half the price.

I'm not sure why this recipe is called 'old-fashioned'. It doesn't taste anything like the mustard pickles my grandmother used to make.

This recipe is missing some important ingredients. It doesn't call for any vinegar or sugar, which are essential for making pickles.

I followed the recipe exactly and my pickle turned out way too sour. I'm not sure what went wrong.

This pickle is a little too spicy for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. I think it would be great on a sandwich or burger.

This pickle is a great way to use up leftover cucumbers. I always have a few extra cucumbers in the fridge and this is a great way to use them up before they go bad.

I love this mustard pickle! It's so versatile. I use it on sandwiches, burgers, and even as a dipping sauce for chicken nuggets. It's always a hit.

This pickle is the perfect balance of sweet, sour, and spicy. It's also really easy to make. I've already made it twice and I'm sure I'll be making it many more times in the future.

I'm not usually a fan of mustard pickles, but this one changed my mind. It's so tangy and flavorful, and the mustard seeds add a nice crunch. I'll definitely be making this again.

I made this pickle for a potluck and it was a huge hit! Everyone loved it and asked for the recipe. It's so easy to make and it tastes amazing.

This is the best mustard pickle recipe I've ever tried! It's so flavorful and has just the right amount of sweetness and heat. I'll definitely be making this again and again.
