PEANUT BUTTER BACON BARS
i take these to church on sunday morning before sunday school we have these with coffee it seems i take take enough of them they get gone so fast

Steps:
- 1. preheat oven to 350. coat an 8x8 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- 2. in a large bowl, beat sugar and butter until creamy. beat in peanut butter, egg and vanilla. add flour, baking soda and salt, mix well. stir in 1/2 cup bacon and 1/3 cup peanuts.
- 3. bake 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. return to oven and bake 1 additional minute.
- 4. immediately spread melted chocolate over tops. sprinkle with reserved bacon and peanuts. let cool completely, then cut into squares.
