My twist on French toast features a spiced pear and cheese filling. This dish is great for Sunday breakfast or brunch with the family and is elegant enough for company. -Emily Butler, Canton, Ohio

I love the idea of this recipe, but I found it to be a bit too time-consuming. I think it would be better suited for a special occasion brunch rather than a weekday breakfast.

The recipe was easy to follow and the French toast turned out great! I didn't have any mascarpone cheese on hand, so I used cream cheese instead. It was still delicious.

This recipe was a bit too sweet for my taste, but I think that's just a personal preference. The French toast was cooked well and the mascarpone filling was smooth and creamy. I might try it again with less sugar next time.

This French toast is next level! It's a bit more work than your average French toast, but it's totally worth it. The mascarpone filling is rich and creamy and the pears add a touch of sweetness and texture. Highly recommend!
